Stuffed Bhindi Masala Recipe

Ingredients

  • 10 – 12 Bhindi – Okra
  • ½ tsp Red Chili Powder
  • ½ tsp Turmeric Powder
  • Salt to taste
  • 2 tsp Gram Flour – Besan
  • Few Drops of Lemon Juice
  • 1 Cup of Curd
  • ¼ tsp Coriander Powder
  • ¼ tsp Garam Masala
  • 1 tsp Oil
  • ¼ tsp Mustard Seeds
  • ¼ tsp Cumin Seeds
  • ¼ tsp Carom Seeds
  • ¼ tsp Asafetida – Hing
  • 2 flakes of chopped Garlic
  • 1 Onion
  • ½ tsp Kasturi Methi
  • Coriander

Instructions

  • In a Bowl take chopped Bhindi. To it add Red Chili powder, Turmeric Powder, Salt, Gram Flour, few drops of Lemon and Mix it well.
  • In another bowl take 1 Cup of Curd. In the Curd add Red Chili Powder, Turmeric Powder, Coriander Powder, Garam Masala and whisk all this together.
  • Place a Pan on gas, once the pan is hot, add oil to it.
  • Add the Bhindi in pan and stir fry it properly. Once it is stirred fried, remove it in a plate
  • In the same pan add Onion and stir well. Next add mustard seeds, cumin, carom seeds, hing, garlic to it and give it a good mix
  • Add the mixture of curd to this and sprinkle Kasturi methi over it
  • Now add the stir fried Bhindi to this gravy and top it up with some fresh coriander leaves.
  • Serve Hot!!!
