Stuffed Snake Gourd Bharwa Gilki
Ingredients
- 7 – 8 pieces of Snake Gourd
- 2 tsp of Roasted Peanuts
- 2 Dried Red Chilies
- 1/2 cup Curd
- 1 tsp of Coriander Seeds
- Salt to taste
- 1 Onion
- 1 tsp of Ginger Garlic Paste
- 2 Green Chilies
- ¼ tsp Mustard seeds
- ¼ tsp Cumin seeds
- ¼ tsp Red Chili Powder
- ¼ tsp of Coriander Powder
- ¼ tsp of Kalonji
Instructions
- Slit the snake gourd from between and cut them into small pieces.
- In a mixer add Roasted Peanuts, Coriander seeds and Dried Red Chili. Turn this into a coarse powder
- In a bowl Add this powder onto the snake gourd.
- Add Curd, Red chili powder, Turmeric powder, Kasturi methi and salt to it and give it a proper mix.
- In a pan add Onions and stir fry them till they turn golden – brownish in colour
- To it add mustard seeds, Cumin seeds, kalonji
- Add the snake gourd in the pan and combine all the masala mixture together
- Cover it with the lid and let it cook for 8 – 10 minutes
- Serve Hot!!!
