Cluster Beans Gawar Phali Recipe
Ingredients
- 15 – 18 Cluster Beans
- 2 tsp of Roasted Peanuts
- 2 Dried Red Chilies
- ½ Curd
- 1 tsp of Coriander Seeds
- Salt to taste
- 1 Onion
- 1 tsp of Ginger Garlic Paste
- 2 Green Chilies
- ¼ tsp Mustard seeds
- ¼ tsp Cumin seeds
- ¼ tsp Red Chili Powder
- ¼ tsp of Coriander Powder
- ¼ tsp of Kalonji
Instructions
- Slit both the ends of cluster beans & cut them in small segments
- Boil cluster beans in water for 3 – 4 minutes.
- In a blender jar take 1 tsp of Fennel Seeds, ½ tsp of Cummin Seeds, ½ tsp of Black Pepper, 2 dry red chili, 2 tsp of besan, salt and grind them all together
- In a heating pan add few drops of oil and add cluster beans to the same. Saute them for 2 minutes on high flame.
- Once they are stir fried nicely, transfer theminto a plate.
- In the same plan add cummin and mustard seeds.
- To this add finely chopped onions and tomatoes, green chili – garlic – ginger paste, salt and give this a good mix
- Add Red Chili powder, turmeric Powder, Corriander Powder. Cook this masala wel along with the mixture
- In a mixer add Roasted Peanuts, Coriander seeds and Dried Red Chili. Turn this into a coarse powder
- In a bowl Add this powder onto the snake gourd.
- Add Curd, Red chili powder, Turmeric powder, Kasturi methi and salt to it and give it a proper mix.
- In a pan add Onions and stir fry them till they turn golden – brownish in colour.
- To it add mustard seeds, Cumin seeds, kalonji
- Add the snake gourd in the pan and combine all the masala mixture together
- Cover it with the lid and let it cook for 8 – 10 minutes
- Serve hot
